adorning the fence
Last year we built a fence for the dog run portion of the yard, to keep them away from the pool when we’re not supervising. The dogs fall into the pool more often than I can even believe.
The fence isn’t ornate or attractive, but it isn’t unattractive either. It’s just a nondescript fence.
Cristy had the wonderful idea last week to line the fence with small flowerpots and I think it is a big improvement.
I tried to locate more of these wire hoops holding the flowerpots to continue the prettiness down the rest of the fence, but was not successful. I suppose I could try to make more myself.
And just to check in with the baby zinnias, here are the 3-week olds
and the 1-week olds. This seed sprouting experience is very exciting.
Very exciting indeed. I check on them at every opportunity. You know, just to see.
Thank you for reading!

X to you both!
so sweet…love this idea! would love to see you link up to Cottage Flora Thursday’s this week – xoxo, Tracie
Such a cute idea. Fences can be so ugly, but yours defied the odds! I’ve never seen wire holders like those but let us know if you end up making them. I would love a tutorial.
Also, I posted up more of my pictures from Round Top! I bet you saw all the same stuff!
