blooming this week

April 12, 2014

a couple of days of rain followed by steady sunshine helps to prompt new bloomers in the garden.  Here’s a look at some of the prettiness for the week–

from upper left, blanket flower, orange star plant, butterfly shrub, sage salvia and bottlebrush, the crowning glory of our landscape.

excuse me while I go fertilize…standard weekend chore 🙂

thank you for stopping by.

Oh wow….amazing colours. How could the butterflies and humming birds resist!
I can’t wait to complain about the weekly fertilizing chore! 😉

hi Mel 🙂 I think I know what you are saying, even though I cannot imagine your winter. But I truly do look forward to the hot hot summer, even with the added chores. We planted our tomatoes today in a new garden, just for them!
