Round Top bound
April 5, 2012
the pastoral beauty of spring in central Texas is not to be missed
and what better way to take in that beauty than by attending the Round Top antiques market? It’s sort of like walking into a blog.
multiplied by a million.
rusty things were everywhere. and so were these oversized wine jugs
and cowboy boots.
These vintage hats caught my eye
and so did this little burro busy munching on sweet bluebonnets.
Cristybella and I had a great day. I didn’t take as many photos as I should have. And I didn’t make many purchases either. But one or two of our happy finds will surely make a cameo appearance here on the blog real soon.
Sending a big Texas hello and thank you for dropping by!

I wouls love to come see that, my problem would be not spending all my money. Looks like lots of things for me to buy. I can just see the oversize wine jars in my Garden as a center piece
Todas estas piezas rústicas reunidas me despiertan las ganas de crear i crear…
OH MY GOSH!!!!!! I woulda wandered all day long!! What an awesome place.

<– waiting to see the snagged goodies!
Diane, what a LOVELY post!
So glad you shared more of your beloved Texas, because I so enjoy seeing and reading about where other people live. That’s one of my favorite things about blogging – meeting people from all over the world!
Beautiful photos! I adore going to antique markets and milling about; looking at all the goods. And you’re right….those vintage hats are definitely eye-catching. Don’t ya just love pre-owned vintage stuff? They’re like purchasing items that have a deep history to them.
Adore that last shot of the donkey!!!!
Thanks for sharing your day with us, my friend!
Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Easter!
X to you and Cristybella!
Hey! Just wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for the liebster blog awards!
I have never been to an outdoor antique market, but this looks fun!
Thank you for the photos, I especially like the last photo!
