bright shimmery garland

May 28, 2011

it’s a holiday weekend and a very special one with a rare family gathering of almost two complete generations.  In my excited anticipation,  I wanted to make something festive to brighten up the expansive space between the kitchen and living room, so I surveyed my craft closet and pulled out tissue paper and ribbons (reclaimed gift wrap), paper beads (from my 1-gallon stash), sparkly Easter grass, bubble wrap packaging, tulle and assorted beads of all sizes.

It is a bright, sparkly mixture.

Free form garlands of playful cheer.

Wishing you a fabulous weekend!  Thanks so much for reading 🙂

Whimsical fun. This had to be a great project to assemble. I’m amazed you had all of that stuff but what a great way to pull it all together and use it.
