rx for an injured flowerpot

May 18, 2011
by

one Saturday morning, not too long ago, a little member of the family (who shall remain nameless)

knocked over her mommy’s flowerpot as she was racing across the patio.  And less than 15 minutes later, she knocked over her other mommy’s favorite coffee cup.

Luckily we found another coffee cup exactly like the broken one.  Happy day.

But I could not bring myself to throw away the broken flowerpot.  So I brought out the superglue and wrapped a burlap bandage around it just for fun.

Happily, this flowerpot is providing a home for germinating indian blanket seeds.

A little late to plant, but I just purchased the seeds at Wildseed Farms a week ago.  We hope that they will give us a few blooms this summer.

Thanks for dropping in!

It’s a great way to take care of an “owie”. 🙂

she totally is! She really makes us laugh 🙂 She loves chasing squirrels, barking at the Polaris, floating on a pool mat, and playing with the garden hose when we’re watering. She is definitely the center of attention.

I think the pot looks very nice with the bandage. I’m going to try this idea on my clay pots that have cracked in the weather. Your little one looks so comfortable in the water. My babies have never been swimming yet.
