quest for a paper garland

One of the executives in my office is retiring at the end of the month and she is beloved by everyone. For her last week at work, we’re planning to bring in goodies from home every day, as a special treat. The man organizing this collective effort wanted to pay special attention to the details and asked me if I would help with some decorative touches for the tables and the area in general.

Good excuse to make a sweet paper garland, right? So, let’s look around, shall we?

*** this pretty one caught my eye – it’s very similar to the package decorations I did at Christmas, just loved those.

The original post and tutorial is at Poppytalk.

I like this particular design since it is cut accordian style.  Hmmm, that’s a good idea.

***Oh, but here’s another pretty idea from Mrs. Priss.

***But wait, look how adorable it is when you combine multiple strands of different styles together.  This is from Project Wedding and features circles, triangular pennants and pinwheels.  How sweet is that?

OK, so I think I’m going to go with the multi-strand theme and use the accordian paper, some pinwheels and the PAPER BEADS i’ve been working on so diligently!  Just the thing.  🙂

I like this post! You know I am a sucker for anything paper…. and that multi-strand piece with the fans is just way too cute 🙂
